May 2009: Annie in a Nutshell

Annie in a NutshellAnnie in a Nutshell was a quick play loosely based on the musical Annie! which was presented by the students of the 2008-2009 Friday Improv/Acting Class. Annie in a Nutshell evolved as a team effort out of the weekly classes and was not the original Broadway production of Annie! Most of the lines came out of the fertile minds of th 10-14 year old children in the class who were all funny, intelligent, observant kids. The class also drew from quirky current events in developing this one-of-a-kind experience.

The production of Annie in a Nutshell benefitted the Shower Program of Tempe First United Methodist Church with the collection of items which were donated on behalf of Burns It Up.
