Did You Find Our Bells?
On Saturday, December 11, 2010, the companies of Burns It Up & Burns It Up Too peformed at the second annual 12K's of Christmas in Gilbert, Arizona, benefiting many animal charities including the Maricopa County Animal Care & Control as well as the PHoenix Animal Care Coalition.
Part of the performance including the singing of "Carol of the Bells" while playing brass bells which had been loaned to the group for the event.
Somehow, the small plastic bin with the six brass bells wrapped in soft, purple cloth was misplaced while at the event. We hope that whomever accidently packed up the bells with their gear will find our container and return the bells. Otherwise, the two small groups who rely on the kindness of others to loan costumes, props, equipment, etc., will be faced with trying to replace the six bells which could amount to between $2,000 and $10,000.
Please, if you were at the event, check all of your boxes and packages that returned with you at the end of the day.
Anyone locating the bells or with information should contact the Gilbert Police Department at 480.503.6500.

Carol of the Bells Fundraiser
While we hope that the bells will be returned at some point, Burns It Up must replace the bells that were loaned to the group for its performances. Any donations toward replacing the bells are greatly appreciated by all of the members of Burns It Up & Burns It Up Too. Such generosity helps reassure the kids of the importance of their dedication to community service.
