About Matt Englehart
For over a decade, Matt Englehart has been the On-Camera/Commercial Print Director for the FORD/Robert Black Agency in Scottsdale, Arizona. He handles actors and models for television, film, TV commercials, print, and voice-over projects. Just prior to joining FORD, Matt was a digital animator working under Don Bluth on Fox’s inaugural animated feature film, Anastasia. Matt got his start as an agent at the famed William Morris Agency in Beverly Hills, CA working with A-List actors, writers, directors, and producers. Having been a former actor himself, Matt understands the many challenges and hurdles faced by today’s performers. Matt is a graduate of Arizona State University and a board member of the Arizona Film & Media Coalition (AFMC), the group responsible for creating tax incentive legislation to bring outside producers to shoot in Arizona.
About the Class
The class will be an overview of the Phoenix and Los Angeles entertainment industry market geared specifically to kids. Topics covered will be: audition techniques, photos, how to present yourself to agents and casting directors and an opportunity for questions and answers. Matt is friendly and outgoing – so this should be very entertaining while be full of vital information for those interested in pursuing acting on a more serious basis.
